You are in Products -> Holden -> Jackaroo -> Cargo Storage Drawers

The following information is specifically for the Holden Jackaroo. See Storage Drawers for Cargo Areas for detailed information. See features, optional extras, and how our drawers are constructed so that they are stronger and lighter.

Why buy our drawers?

Points of Interest:

  • Our storage drawers have been designed to be as strong and as light as possible. This is achieved by constructing the drawers from marine bonded plywood then re-enforcing any areas that are highly stressed with steel components. Some parts are glued screwed and braced, other parts are riveted or bolted together. Click here for more information on the construction.
  • Designed individually to suit the Jackaroo, neatly following the contours of the vehicle. Our drawers are designed to utilise all the space available.
  • If required, a full Milford cargo barrier can be fitted in front of this system.
  • Fits to the vehicle by utilising two of the luggage tie down captive nuts and two of the child restraint captive nuts in the cargo area.

Full drawer system (two drawers "side by side") $2220 + options, half drawer system (one drawer) $1110 + options. The internal dimensions for each drawer are: 734mm(L) 393mm(W) 173mm (H) (These measurements are for our standard size drawer system. The height of each drawer can be changed to suit the customer)

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Introduction. The Jackaroo drawer system is fitted to the vehicle without drilling any holes by utilising two of the four "tie down" captive nuts (the two closest to the cargo doors) and two of the three child restraint captive nuts (the centre child restraint captive nut is not used).

Step 1. If the vehicle is fitted with third row passenger seats in the cargo area, remove the seats and the plastic cover for the seat latch. Do not replace the seat mount bolts into the captive nuts on top of the wheel arches.

Step 2. Remove the two "tie downs" that are closest to the cargo doors.

Step 3. Remove the centre child restraint fitting, then replace the threaded screw back into the captive nut. Remove the plastic threaded screws fitted into the two remaining child restraint captive nuts.

Step 4. Remove the seat belts fitted in the cargo area. Replace the two threaded screws back into the captive nuts in the cargo floor.

Step 5. The top of this floor system (the false floor) is in two sections. Unscrew each of these sections and remove them from the drawer units. If the drawer system has a built in fridge slide, only remove half of the false floor - i.e. remove the false floor on the opposite side to the fridge slide.

Step 6. Place the drawer units in the vehicle without the false floor and the side fillers attached. Align the mounting holes in the drawer units with the four captive nuts on the cargo floor.

Step 7. Open the fitting kit. Join the two drawer units together using the six 35mm x 6mm threaded screws, nuts and washers provided in the fitting kit - the holes are drilled (if the drawer system has a built in fridge slide there are only five threaded screws. Three 30mm x 6mm and two 35mm x 6mm).

Step 8. Fix the drawer system into position. Fit the two 2½" x 5/16" UNC set screws (with two large washers) into the child restraint captive nuts. Then fit the two 45mm x 8mm set screws (with two small washers) into the "tie down" captive nuts.

Step 9. Attach the two side fillers using the four black screws provided in the fitting kit.

Step 10. Place the floor tops in position then screw them back onto the drawer units.
