FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Due to the lack of headroom and the
wasted space above the hoodlining, the 110 roof console has
been designed to fit the vehicle with the hoodlining cut down
or with the hood lining completely removed.
Step 1. Remove the front hood
lining. If you are fitting the console without the hoodlining
go to step 5.
Step 2. Cut out the section of the moulded hood lining
that fits around the rear vision mirror and fix it back into
the vehicle under the mirror base.
Step 3. Peel the fabric cover off the front of the
hood lining, then cut the hood lining as indicated in figure
1. Leave enough fabric overlap to tuck under the console facia
and sides.
Step 4. Fit the hoodlining back into position. It may
be necessary to glue some sections of the fabric overlap to
the turret to support the hoodling.
Step 5. There is a recess cut
on each side of the console base to accept the two steel brackets
supplied. Hold the console in position and using a pencil,
mark where each recess lines up with the channels above the
doors. Remove the console, attach the steel brackets to the
channel using the 12mm screws supplied. Re-fit the console
and bend the brackets under the console. Screw the brackets
to the console using the 25mm screws and snap caps supplied.
Attach the console above the windscreen using the four 40mm
screws and snap caps supplied.

In order to get maximum space in the
facia panel, the cut
in the hood lining does not line up with the console facia.
There will be an approximate 2" gap as indicated in figure
2.
