Why buy our drawers?

 

The following photos show a Discovery 3 fitted with a full drawer system - two drawers side by side. This drawer system is fitted with an optional driver's side fridge slide and four optional tie downs. Also fitted is an optional bolt on bed extension.

Access is provided to the bolt that releases the spare wheel. The tool supplied with the vehicle to release the spare wheel cannot be used when the drawer system is fitted. A socket ratchet and extension bar will do the job.

 

 

 

Points of Interest:

  • Our storage drawers have been designed to be as strong and as light as possible. This is achieved by constructing the drawers from marine bonded plywood then re-enforcing any areas that are highly stressed with steel components. Some parts are glued screwed and braced, other parts are riveted or bolted together. Click here for more information on the construction.
  • Designed individually to suit the Discovery, neatly following the contours of the vehicle. Our drawers are designed to utilise all the space available.
  • Fitted to the vehicle without drilling any holes by uitilising the six captive nuts in the cargo floor. This drawer system is also bolted to the steel bracket in the centre of the cargo floor behing the middle row seat (see photo).
  • Access is provided to the bolt that releases the spare wheel by way of an access hole (with cover) in the top of the drawer system (see photo). The tool supplied with the vehicle to release the spare wheel cannot be used when the drawer system is fitted. A socket ratchet and extension bar will do the job.
Full drawer system (two drawers "side by side") $2900 + options, half drawer system (one drawer) $1450 + options. The internal dimensions for each drawer are: 845mm(L) 384mm(W) 258mm (H) (These measurements are for our standard size drawer system. The height of each drawer can be changed to suit the customer)
