Dashboard
Pod The dashboard pod is a binnacle that sits on top of the dashboard
and is ideal for mounting a radio, CB extension speaker etc. It is a small version
of the instrument pod that houses the speedometer which comes standard in all
vehicles. Our dash pods are finished in a vinyl that matches the dashboard crash
pad. Most crash pads have a vacuum formed finish. Many of our dash pods are vacuum
formed and are an exact colour and grain match. |

Full
Length Centre Floor Console Available for all transmission types,
cloumn shift, manual floor shift, and automatic floor shift. Suitable for bucket
seats only. This design supplies as much flat facia as possible. It comes complete
with a storage bin and a hinged lid that forms a padded armrest. The storage bin
is upholstered on the inside and includes a removable lining that is held in place
by Velcro tape. This console is also available for vehicles with a handbrake between
the bucket seats. The T-bar auto consoles are designed to house the genuine selector
cover plate. The selector cover plate is not supplied with the console. |
 The
inside of the storage bin is fully lined and comes complete with a removeable
velcro mounted vinyl bag. The lid/armrest is attached to a heavy duty steel hinge
and is held in the open position by a black webbing retaining strap. |

Centre
Floor Compartment This console is the same as the back section of
the full length centre floor console. Suitable for bucket seats only. It comes
complete with a storage bin and a hinged lid that forms a padded armrest. The
storage bin is upholstered on the inside and includes a removable lining that
is held in place by Velcro tape. Centre compartments are also available for vehicles
with a handbrake between the bucket seats. The photos show the most common designs
of centre floor compartment (i.e. plain or with tray.) However, there are a large
variety of individual designs for particular models. A radio can be mounted into
most centre compartments inside the storage bin or in a separate facia panel.
If we don't have a pattern for a centre compartment for your vehicle we can make
one with a flat base by using your measurements. This only applies to vehicles
without a handbrake between the seats. |

console has a universal contoured shape so it will sit neatly onto most types
of vehicle seat. The seat belt holds the console in place. |

Across
Windscreen Full Facia Roof Console This
console mounts across the vehicle above the windscreen. This design of console
is only available for vehicles with vertical or near vertical windscreens which
provide adequate headroom when the console is fitted. The facia panel which fits
neatly to the roof, provides a strong support and will not vibrate when heavy
radios are fitted. The full facia across screen console is designed to seal off
the radio(s) and/or storage area(s), keeping out most of the red dust. All Storage/Access
Openings (S.A.O) come complete with an elasticised vinyl flap. This vinyl flap
keeps most of the red dust out of the storage area and also keeps any stored items
in place. The facia layout is optional, the Storage/Access Opening(s) and radio(s)
can be positioned to suit your requirements. |

Across
Windscreen Shelf Roof Console This
console mounts across the vehicle above the windscreen. This design of console
is only available for vehicles with vertical or near vertical windscreens, which
provide adequate headroom when the console is fitted. The base of this console
is the same as the full facia design. It does not have a facia panel that fits
up to the roof, but rather a lip that holds stored items in position. This console
can collect the red dust, it is not as strong as the full facia design and on
rough roads some vibration can occur if heavy radios are fitted. Also, stored
items can bounce off the shelf on rough roads. The advantages are, the ease of
mounting radios, there is no need to cut holes and radios can be repositioned
easily. Also, there are considerable cost savings in comparison to the full facia
design because there is no need for radio holes or Storage/Access Opening. |

Rear
Roof Console This
console mounts across the vehicle above the rear barn doors or tailgate in a station
wagon, troopcarrier etc. The rear roof console is ideal for mounting large speakers
securely and out of harms way. The facia panel is angled so the speakers face
the passengers. When mounted in this console the speakers are as far away from
the passengers as possible, and are as far apart as possible to produce the optimum
sound. This console is also useful as a storage area, and for mounting a fluorescent
light. |

"T"
Shaped Roof Console This
console has the advantages of the wide style centre roof console and the across
windscreen roof console combined. As its name indicates the console is a "T" shape,
providing the maximum area for storage and radio mounting etc. |

Wide
Style Centre Roof Console The
wide style roof console is designed for vehicles with limited head room in front
of the driver, although providing adequate head room in the centre of the roof.
All centre roof consoles are positioned at a 90 degree angle to the windscreen
(i.e. they sit in the centre of the roof). This console can be used for overhead
storage, and is wide enough to accommodate the longest radio. Any radios etc.
mounted in this console must face sideways, to the driver or to the passenger.
Most wide style roof consoles come complete with a storage/access opening (SAO)
with an elasticised vinyl flap on the passenger's side of the console. |

Deep
Profile Centre Roof Console All
centre roof consoles are positioned at a 90 degree angle to the windscreen (i.e
they sit in the centre of the roof). This console is narrower, (normally the same
width as the distance between the sun visors) but the same depth as the wide style
roof console. The deep profile roof console has all the advantages of the low
profile console. However the deep profile console provides additional space at
the rear, for a larger second radio and/or a Storage/Access Opening (S.A.O). The
Storage Access Opening with elasticised vinyl flap is optional on the deep profile
roof console (see photo 2). Some vehicles do not provide enough head room for
a deep profile roof console. Deep profile consoles can be manufactured with a
flat base and an open facia. The open facia can be provided on the driver's side,
the passenger's side or on both sides. The open facia provides access to a carpeted
storage area. Radios or remote heads can be mounted in the facia opening without
cutting any holes.

| In the case
of the "low profile" and "deep profile" centre roof consoles,
the front radio housing can be shortened to suit your radio. This housing is normally
big enough to house the largest radios available. If you are fitting a smaller
radio, this housing can be shortened to provide more head room and a better view
of the radio controls. | | |

Low
Profile Centre Roof Console All
centre roof consoles are positioned at a 90 degree angle to the windscreen (i.e.
they sit in the centre of the roof). The low profile console is designed for vehicles
with limited head room in all directions. This console is narrower, (normally
the same width as the distance between the sunvisors.) and less obtrusive than
the wide style roof console. However we can position a large C.B above the rear
vision mirror and close to the windscreen. This radio can be seen by all occupants
of the vehicle. Also in most cases, if required, we can slightly deepen the rear
section of the console to accommodate a second radio facing sideways, or to provide
some storage space. (NOTE: we need to know the size of the second radio to build
this console, in some cases a deep profile console may be necessary. We also recommend
that we cut the radio hole before upholstering the console. Low profile consoles
can be manufactured with a flat base and an open facia. The facia can be provided
on the driver's side, the passenger's side or on both sides. The open facia provides
access to a carpeted storage area. Radios or remote heads can be mounted in the
facia without cutting any holes).

In the case
of the "low profile" centre roof consoles, the front radio housing can
be shortened to suit your radio. This housing is normally big enough to house
the largest radios available. If you are fitting a smaller radio, this housing
can be shortened to provide more head room and a better view of the radio controls.
Also the depth at the back of the console can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
