Why don't we offer 6x9" speaker

Installing oval 6x9" inch speakers in a 70 Series requires: Cutting the door frame Cleaning metal swarf from the door cavity Painting exposed steel edges Applying additional rust protection We avoid unnecessary vehicle modification when it is not required. From an audio performance perspective: Oval woofers can distort unevenly at higher volumes Round speakers provide superior staging and imaging 6x9" inch speakers can introduce interference between the woofer and tweeter, reducing midrange clarity If maximum volume is your primary goal and these factors are not a concern, a 6x9" inch speaker can be suitable. An external amplifier is essential, as the internal amplifier (or power IC) in most head units cannot deliver the power these speakers are capable of handling.

Original Speaker Door Pods

Our Original Speaker Pods feature a traditional speaker mounting design that allows you to fit an aftermarket speaker grille directly over the speaker. This grille sits proud of the pod surface, creating a more conventional appearance similar to many aftermarket audio installations.

Premium Speaker Door Pods

Our Premium Speaker Pods feature an integrated grille design built into the pod itself. This eliminates the need for a protruding aftermarket speaker grille, resulting in a cleaner, more refined appearance. The flush grille design creates a more premium, OEM-inspired finish while still providing excellent speaker protection and airflow.

The factory Toyota 70 Series door cards are well known for deteriorating over time. Constructed from pressed board materials, they can warp, crack, swell from moisture exposure, and eventually disintegrate, particularly in hard-working touring and commercial vehicles.

To solve this issue, we developed a range of replacement ABS door trims designed specifically for the 70 Series. Manufactured from durable automotive-grade ABS plastic, our trims are stronger, easier to clean, moisture resistant, and designed to provide a long-lasting upgrade over the factory door cards.

Our Standard ABS Door Trims are designed for owners looking for a clean, practical, factory-inspired upgrade. 3D ABS Door Trims

Our 3D ABS Door Trims are designed for customers seeking a more premium and modern interior appearance. The moulded 3D contours follow the shape and styling of our Premium Speaker Pods, creating a more integrated and elevated look throughout the door. The result is a more refined interior that feels purpose-built rather than simply upgraded. While functionality remains identical to our Standard ABS Door Trims, the 3D design adds depth, styling, and visual impact to the vehicle's interior. Please note: 3D Door Trims are currently only available for electric window models.

Vehicles with Factory Bucket Seats

For vehicles with or retaining factory bucket seats, we recommend: Re-using the factory Toyota door pockets ( GXL holes only ) or selecting GXL Pockets

Vehicles with Aftermarket Seats

Many aftermarket seats do not utilise the factory plastic seat surround and may provide sufficient clearance for the DOTI ABS Pocket Option. To determine compatibility, measure the available space between the seat and door trim. The combined depth of: Speaker Door Pod DOTI ABS Pocket is approximately 77mm at the storage pocket section (cup holder area is slightly deeper). If you have more than 77mm of clearance, the DOTI ABS Pocket Option may be suitable.
