Sales Assistant

Work across our brands and product lines, from custom consoles to drawer systems and RECARO seats.

Ideal traits:

Confident communicator
Strong customer service skills and comfortable speaking with walk-in customers, callers, and suppliers.


Interest in 4WD, touring, or automotive interiors
Helps with understanding customer needs and engaging with product discussions.

Sales or retail experience (preferred but not essential)
Experience working with customers, processing orders, or handling POS systems is a bonus.

Daily Tasks:

Customer sales & enquiries
Assist walk-in customers, answer phone and email enquiries, provide product information, prepare quotes, and process orders across Consoles, Loaded Drawers, and Ergodrive (RECARO).


Order coordination
Sketch and confirm order details, gather required vehicle information, and maintain clear communication with customers throughout the order process.

Production & dispatch liaison
Work closely with the manufacturing and dispatch teams to check order status, lead times, and build progress, ensuring smooth handovers and accurate updates.

Wholesale order processing
Receive, enter, and manage wholesale orders, ensuring details are correct and coordinating with internal teams for efficient fulfilment.

Lead time & workflow management
Track production schedules, provide accurate timing updates, and adjust customer expectations as workloads shift.

Email & admin management
Respond promptly to customer messages, send confirmations, request missing details, and maintain tidy, organised customer files.

Quote and order documentation
Prepare new quotes, revise existing ones when needed, and ensure all order information is accurate before it progresses to production.

Product knowledge upkeep

Stay current on all product lines, console variations, RECARO seating models, drawer configurations, and fitment requirements to provide confident, informed advice.

Dispatch & Warehouse Assistant

Support our manufacturing team by coordinating freight, packaging orders, and keeping our dispatch area running smoothly.

A critical role in ensuring our products arrive safely and on time.

Ideal traits:

Confident with warehouse tools
Comfortable using a tape gun, packaging equipment, and preparing orders for freight.

Strong time management
Able to prioritise multiple orders, meet daily dispatch cut-offs, and keep workflow running smoothly during busy periods.

Warehousing experience
Picker/packer experience and/or a valid forklift licence is highly valued for efficient and safe dispatch operations.operation in the dispatch area


Daily Tasks include:

Order Packing & Dispatch
Pick, pack, and prepare customer and wholesale orders, ensuring all components, hardware, and paperwork are included and packaged safely.


Freight Coordination
Book freight, print labels, organise couriers, and ensure all outgoing orders are ready for daily pickup.


Stock Handling & Organisation
Receive, unpack, and store incoming stock and materials. Keep shelves and storage areas organised and clearly labelled.


Support Manufacturing Team
Assist with moving completed consoles, drawer systems, and RECARO seat components to and from the manufacturing area as needed.

Maintain Dispatch Area
Keep the packing and dispatch area tidy, safe, and running smoothly. Restock packaging materials when required.

Basic Admin Tasks
Update order statuses, complete dispatch notes, and communicate with the office team regarding any delays or missing items.

Safe Manual Handling & Equipment Use
Follow safe lifting practices and operate warehouse tools or forklifts (if licensed).

Upholsterer (Full Training Provided)

  • Experience or interest in upholstery or automotive interiors
    Comfortable working with materials, tools, and accessories used in console manufacturing.

Daily Tasks Include

Upholstering Consoles & Interior Components
Trim, wrap, and finish consoles using carpet, vinyl, and other materials to meet DOTI’s quality standards.

Foaming & Preparation
Cut, shape, and fit foam components; prepare console bodies for upholstery, ensuring smooth surfaces and correct fitment.

Accessory Fitting
Install accessories such as cup holders, charging sockets, ScanGauge housings, radios, lights, and switches as required for each order.

Attention to Build Specifications
Follow job sheets and customer requirements accurately, ensuring each console is built to the correct model, trim level, and layout.

Quality Assurance
Inspect finished consoles for clean edges, tight wraps, consistent finishes, and secure hardware before passing them to dispatch.

Tool & Workspace Management
Maintain a clean, organised workspace, handle tools safely, and keep equipment in good working condition.

Collaboration With Manufacturing & Sales
Work with the production team to meet due dates, and communicate with office staff when clarification or adjustments are needed.


Cabinet Maker / Carpenter / Shopfitter

We’re expanding to meet the booming demand for Aussie-made touring systems. This hands-on role involves designing, building, and installing drawer and storage setups in utes, vans, and canopies.​

Based at our Kingsgrove factory, you’ll work closely with CNC operators, the sales team, and directly with customers.

Ideal Traits

  • Qualified cabinet makers, carpenters, shopfitters or someone who is hands-on with strong mechanical or fabrication ability
    Confident using tools, machinery, and working with timber, laminates, and hardware.

  • Problem-solving mindset
    Able to read job sheets, troubleshoot fitment issues, and adapt builds to different vehicles or customer specs.

  • Interest in 4WD, touring, or custom vehicle interiors
    Helps with understanding product function, usability, and customer needs.

    Daily Tasks Include

  • Assembling consoles and drawer systems.
    Build frames, drawer units, mounting platforms, and internal carcasses from CNC-cut components. Ensure parts are assembled square, secure, and to spec.

  • Fitting hardware and mechanical components
    Install runners, locks, handles, hinges, tie-downs, compression latches, and mounting brackets. Check alignment and smooth function of all moving parts.

  • Working with CNC operators and the production team
    Collect cut parts, review them for accuracy, and communicate any adjustments needed. Assist with minor trimming or sanding where required.

  • Reading build sheets and job requirements
    Follow measurements, layouts, and customer-specific notes to ensure each system matches the correct vehicle model (ute, wagon, canopy, or van).

  • Vehicle fitment and installation support
    Help with fitting drawer systems, platforms, and accessories into customer vehicles, ensuring correct mounting points and safe installation.

  • Finishing and preparation for dispatch
    Complete final checks, ensure all hardware is installed, and assist with packaging or preparing completed systems for pickup or freight.

  • Workshop organisation & maintenance
    Keep tools, workbenches, and build areas clean and stocked with materials. Maintain a safe, tidy workspace and assist with general workshop duties.

  • Collaborating with sales and production
    Liaise with the sales team when clarification is needed on a customer order, and communicate any delays, part shortages, or issues that could affect timelines.
