Our Centre Roof Console for the Nissan GU Patrol Wagon is back!
Originally templated in the early 2000s and temporarily put on hold while we focused on demand for other product ranges, we're excited to finally offer it again.
Our Centre Roof Console provides a practical overhead storage solution while retaining an OEM-style appearance. Each console is hand-built in Sydney using a strong plywood framework and professionally upholstered to suit your vehicle's interior.
The photos shown on this listing are of a console installed in an ST model vehicle. The DX model console differs slightly at the front end. Further details can be found below.
Standard Features on all consoles
- Storage access openings on both sides
- Elasticised storage netting

- Narva 87509 LED interior light with ON/OFF/DOOR switching
- Front LED map lights
- Space to mount a GME XRS UHF radio or similar
- Professionally upholstered to suit your vehicle's interior
- Fully padded soft-touch vinyl finish with French seam detailing
- No sharp edges or exposed corners
- Utilises factory mounting points with no drilling required
ST Model Features
- ST models include a provision at the front of the console to accommodate either:
- Your factory sunglasses holder (removed from the original roof console assembly), or
- A Kenay Kustoms Nissan Patrol GU Sunglass Switch Panel (available through Kenay Kustoms)
- Please note that the Kenay Kustoms switch panel shown in some images is not included with the console.
DX Model Information
- DX models do not feature the factory sunglasses holder or switch panel assembly located between the sun visors. As a result, the front section of the DX console is designed differently and incorporates an L-shaped mounting bracket that secures using the rear-view mirror mounting points. The bracket sits neatly between the roof lining and the rear-view mirror mounting base. This provides a secure installation while maintaining a clean factory-style appearance.

- Narva charging panel fitted to both sides at the rear of the console, including:
- 12V accessory socket
- USB-A charging outlet
- USB-C charging outlet
- Kenay Kustoms GU Sunglass Switch Panel. Designed to replace the factory sunglasses holder while providing additional switch mounting provisions. Available separately from Kenay Kustoms.
Construction
Unlike plastic alternatives, our Centre Roof Consoles utilise a strong exterior-grade plywood framework for excellent durability and rigidity. Each console is then professionally upholstered by our in-house trimming team using padded automotive vinyl, resulting in a premium finish that complements the factory interior.
Information Required When Ordering
Nissan offered multiple roof lining and interior trim colours throughout the GU Patrol production run. To ensure the closest possible colour match, please provide:
- A photo of your roof lining
- A photo of your sun visors
- Vehicle month and year of manufacture (available on your VIN plate)

Alternatively, the console can be upholstered in our DeluxeTrim Black Vinyl. Please note that consoles upholstered in black vinyl will be supplied with black LED map lights.
