Our Rear Seat Delete Platform for the Toyota LandCruiser 250 Prado transforms the unused space left by the third row seats into a practical, flat cargo area. Designed and manufactured in Australia, this system replaces the factory set-up with a strong, lightweight platform that dramatically improves storage and usability for touring, trade or everyday use. Since launching in December 2024, we have manufactured over 350 platforms, now installed by DIY customers, 4WD accessory retailers and Toyota dealerships right across Australia.

This platform is securely mounted using the factory seat mounting points (which are present in 5 and 7 seat models), ensuring a user-friendly installation without the need for any additional drilling. Warranty Information

"If a customer removes the third-row seats out of the 7-seat LandCruiser Prado variant, the warranty will remain valid for all components of the vehicle besides the third-row components," said a Toyota Australia spokesperson (via CarExpert).

No Warranty Voids: Toyota warranties typically remain valid unless the modification directly contributes to a defect. For example, this platform won’t affect claims related to unrelated components, like paint or the instrument cluster.
Consult Your Dealer: Contact your local Toyota dealer to confirm specific concerns.

Registration Updates by State

For NSW and other Australian states, it’s recommended to update your registration to reflect the seating capacity change. Below is a guide for each state:

NSW: Contact Transport for NSW to update your registration as advised.

VIC: Notify VicRoads about the seating capacity change.

QLD: Update your registration with the Department of Transport & Main Roads (TMR).

SA: Report any seating modifications to the Department for Infrastructure & Transport.

WA: Notify the Department of Transport (DoT) about seating changes.

TAS: Reflect seating capacity updates with the Department of State Growth.

ACT: Notify Access Canberra of any modifications.

NT: Update your registration with the Department of Infrastructure, Planning & Logistics (DIPL).
